still in texas

Hi again...sorry I didn't write yesterday, but do you understand how tiring a scrapbook convention can be...all that creativity and shopping...whew! I did several classes yesterday and did three today. All have been really good except for one yesterday that was just way too basic, plus the instructor (a guy) didn't know the difference between brads and eyelets....geez. Anyway, I've had a wonderful time and spent so much money that I can't retire now and will have to work for another five years!

Amy...Brenda...I bought a Kut-n-Klik....oh, my God! It's going to be sooooo cool. I really splurged, but then Tom keeps telling me not to worry and that I deserve it. Maybe he's right. Anyway, we'll have fun playing with it one day. Brenda, I've bought a bunch of baby scrapbook stuff too...some was so cute I couldn't resist. Maybe we can work on some of it together.

Tom has been absolutely wonderful this whole time. Our hotel has a workout centre so he's worked out every day and gone shopping and looking around the area. He found the world's largest swap meet in Arlington somewhere...guess we'll check it out tomorrow. There's 2600 vendors so that should be enough to keep us busy...good thing Tom's been working out.

The weather is still hot and humid. The sky rarely clears ..it's mostly cloudy, but sure is warm. We stopped at Walmart on the way home today and got salad so that's dinner tonight...it's good to have the little kitchen in this place so we can fix meals instead of eating out every night.

We went to the Park Mall today after scrapbooking. We wandered through...it's like Northtown only three times as big...everything seems to be bigger in Texas....smile. Tom bought me a pink sapphire and diamond ring....geez...he's way too good to me.
